Ontario businesses eligible for workplace safety grants
Government funding is available for businesses with regards to costs related to keeping workers safe during the pandemic.
Health and safety funding available to Ontario business owners
Forestry sector: Government funding is available for small and medium sized forest sector businesses to help offset the cost of COVID-19 safety measures and safety training. Applications for funding (up to $75,000) are due by Feb. 12, 2021. For information on program eligibility and timelines, please visit ontario.ca/forestsafetyfund
Small business: Government funding is available for small businesses required to close or significantly restrict services under the province-wide shutdown, and for unexpected costs related to COVID-19. Small, medium and large size business can also earn rebates for addressing COVID-19 through the Health and Safety Excellence program from Workplace Safety and Insurance Board
