Denis Leduc based at Hemlo Mine Rescue Station in Marathon

Ontario Mine Rescue Officer Denis LeducWorkplace Safety North welcomes Denis Leduc as the new Ontario Mine Rescue Officer for the Hemlo Mine Rescue Station at the Williams Mine in Marathon, ON.

Leduc comes to the organization with more than 25 years mining experience including 20 years of active involvement in Ontario mine rescue. In addition to his years of mining experience, Leduc also held the position of Contractor Health and Safety Coordinator, and most recently, Health and Safety Supervisor at Goldcorp Musslewhite Mine.  

A member of the winning team at the 2012 Provincial Mine Rescue Competition, Leduc was responsible for coordinating mine rescue activities for several years at his previous two employers. Leduc’s knowledge and experience is exceeded only by his passion and enthusiasm for mine rescue. Please join us in welcoming Denis Leduc to Ontario Mine Rescue and Workplace Safety North.
