Health and safety resources for small business

Every year since 1979, the third week of October is designated as Small Business Week across Canada to celebrate entrepreneurs and bring them together to network. The goal is to provide them with opportunities to learn, network, share ideas and socialize with like-minded entrepreneurs.

Every good business owner knows that to succeed, they need to be focused on building and sustaining their enterprise 52 weeks per year. The same rule applies when it comes to building health and safety into their enterprises: it’s a day-to-day, week-to week priority that is proven to help their bottom line  while fulfilling their legal responsibilities as employers.

Workplace Safety North has developed a number of resources and programs and collaborated with our health and safety system partners in Ontario to ensure small business owners and employees have the knowledge and tools they need to work safely every day. Below are just some of the free resources available to you.
