In November 2022, a group of Ontario corrugating industry experts met to determine the root causes of one of the top health and safety risks: pedestrians being struck by mobile equipment.
An industry volunteer group of eight subject matter experts – four management and four worker representatives – met virtually for a root cause analysis workshop facilitated by WSN. The provincial root cause analysis program is sector-specific and takes a scientific and focused approach to improving workplace health and safety.
The research resulted in this top 10 causes poster and root cause analysis report.
