The purpose of the Unusual Occurrence Report for Fires is to provide Ontario mining operations with a standard means of collecting and reporting pertinent information on fires in their operations. This electronic form satisfies the requirements of Section 53 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act on giving notice in writing of this type of occurrence.
