Canada's premiere mining safety event

The 22nd annual Mining Health and Safety Conference themed 'Transforming safety: New leadership in the digital mine' will be held April 21 to 23, 2020 in Sudbury. 
 
Each year, about 300 attendees gather to learn and share their knowledge about mining health and safety, and network with industry professionals. Key areas of focus for presentations include: 
  • Leadership, safety culture and management systems
  • Research and innovation
  • Emergency preparedness and mine rescue
  • Workplace well-being and mental health 
  • Hazards specific to underground work
As the premiere mining health and safety event in Canada, the conference will be live-streamed via webcast, and made available for viewing around the globe.
