Mining Health and Safety Conference
You're invited to attend the 19th annual conference this April in Sudbury
Themed “Innovations in mining safety,” the 19th annual Mining Health and Safety Conference hosted by Workplace Safety North, will be held in Sudbury from April 18 to 20, 2017. Each year, about 300 attendees gather to learn and share their knowledge about mining health and safety, and network with industry professionals. Key areas of focus for presentations include:
- Mining health and safety research
- Mine rescue
- Health and safety management systems
- Communication technology
- Occupational health hazards specific to underground work
