Ergonomics or Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) account for 42% of lost-time injuries in Ontario. This hands-on session provides a thorough understanding of what MSDs are and how best to recognize and assess them. The participants will learn the 'why' of MSDs through a series of work task examples.
This program development workshop delves into the participatory ergonomics approach of the OHSCO MSD Guideline, taking the booklets off the shelf and teaching participants the practical approach to MSD risks in the workplace.
