This mandatory half-day refresher training applies to "Approved Trainers" involved in the pre-employment classroom training and/or on-site evaluations of the Mechanical Harvesting-Forestry Pit and Road Construction Equipment Operator Safety Training.
The course provides participants with a wide range of information and resources, and an excellent opportunity to network.
The Refresher course consists of:
- Review and discussion of program material and trainer questions
- Discussion and resources on conducting an effective MHEO/FPRCEO on-site evaluation
- General questions and answers
After successful completion, Approved Trainers will remain on MTCU’s list of Approved Trainers of the Mechanical Harvesting/Forestry Pit & Road Construction Equipment Operator Safety Training
Approved Evaluators are also encouraged to participate in this training which will focus on Industry Best Practices and share opportunities and training experiences.

Equipment needed:
This program requires you to each bring along your MHEO/FPRCEO training manuals for reference during the training. You must have the current MHEO/FPRCEO instructor manual version 5.0 or later. If you do not have this, you will have to purchase a copy prior to the course.
