Risk Assessment

This course provides understanding and knowledge of the fundamental principles of risk assessment. The aim of the course is to enable participants conduct effective risk assessments in their workplace.

 

Course participants are provided tools, such as the pocket risk assessment matrix card, a risk register and a hazard report form card, which they use in class to complete practical activities. Course topics include how to recognize hazards, assess and control risk and evaluate controls, and how to prioritize actions to manage risk.
