This program is aimed at providing participants with the knowledge, tools, and techniques needed to respond effectively to psychological health and safety issues in the workplace.
Topics covered include:
- Recognizing workplace contributors that may reflect a psychosocial health and safety risk factor
- Being familiar with legislation as well as organizational policies and resources related to psychological health and safety
- apply the concept of RACE to psychosocial hazards
- learn about qualitative and quantitative demands
- assisting workers to navigate resources and stay at or return to work in a safe and sustainable fashion
- Tools in the toolbox, supporting workers with psychological or psychosocial concerns while at work, develop an understanding of the CSA Standard CSA-Z1003-13: Psychological Health and Safety in The Workplace and actions leaders can take
- Normalizing conversations and discussions relating to mental health

Mental Health 101 (401) strongly recommended
