Joint Health and Safety Committee Certification Training Part 1
All firms with 20 or more employees require a joint health and safety committee (JHSC). Each JHSC must be comprised of at least one management and one worker representative who are certified through JHSC Certification Part 1 and 2 training. This mandatory course gives participants the general knowledge and skills to recognize, assess and control workplace hazards, and to evaluate hazard controls.
Visit the training calendar for the current schedule of JHSC Certification Part 1. To successfully complete the course, participants must satisfactorily complete a review test.
