David Jacques joined MacLean Engineering in 2001 after graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. David's career has grown with MacLean over the past 25 years to include senior management positions then Vice President for Engineering, which includes oversight of the teams that design and build its wide range of underground mining vehicles in both diesel and BEV formats. Since 2024, David's role has further expanded to include Vice President of the Surface Mining Vehicle Division, which aims to bring zero emission mining products to clients who need to advance their decarbonization targets to include ancillary equipment.
