Louise Caicco Tett
Louise is a Registered Nurse with a degree from the University of Western Ontario. She has a certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and holds her Canadian Registered Safety Professional Designation. Louise also has her Master's in Public Health (Occupational Health and Safety Management) from Tulane University's Department of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
Louise has worked in a variety of industries as an Occupational Health Consultant and has 25 years of facilitation and training experience. She has helped many businesses develop and implement occupational health and safety management systems in their workplaces. Louise was a valuable member of several audit teams, also serving as a lead auditor.
Louise is a City of Sault Ste. Marie-appointed Board member for Algoma Public Health (APH) and a member on the APH Board Finance Committee. For almost 25 years Louise has volunteered with WSPS, (formerly IAPA) working on their conference planning committee and speaking at several conferences. Throughout the pandemic, Louise supported many businesses and has noted the toll our collective experience has had on mental health. She is a Canadian Mental Health Association Certified Psychological Health and Safety Advisor.
Louise was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, raised her family there, and oversees her health and safety business, which is mostly made of northern Ontario businesses. Louise is excited to learn from WSN employees, fellow board members, and clients, and to offer her expertise wherever needed.
