Eugene Gutierrez is the Executive Director of Threads of Life, a national charity supporting families affected by workplace tragedies and advocating for the elimination of workplace injuries, illnesses, and deaths. After losing his father to a workplace fatality in 2017, Eugene turned to Threads of life for support - an experience that deepened his commitment to workplace safety and led to various volunteer roles within the organization.
Appointed ED in January 2025, Eugene succeeds the co-founder and retiring Executive Director Shirley Hickman. He brings 18 years of leadership experience in creative services, marketing, strategic consulting, and client management.
