Reference Document for Developing Trigger Action Response Plan (TARP) for High Stress and Seismically Active Underground Mine

This reference document is intended to help Ontario underground mining operations develop a Trigger Action Response Plan (TARP) for high stress and seismically active conditions. It provides guidance on assessing seismic hazards and managing associated risks as part of a written Seismic Risk Management Program, in accordance with Section 71.1 of Regulation 854 (Mines and Mining Plants).
