Jim is the Chief Operating Officer for Technica Mining in Sudbury, one of Canada’s largest Canadian owned, mining contracting companies. He is a third -generation miner having spent the last 37 years developing his skills in all aspects of mining. Jim was involved with Ontario Mine Rescue for 25 years and is a past Chair of the Technical Advisory Committee. Jim is also the past Chair of the Board of Trustees for Science North and Dynamic Earth and was a long-time volunteer for Ducks Unlimited Canada and Rayside Balfour minor hockey.
