JHSC Effectiveness Series: Workplace Inspection Best Practices e-learning

In this course, focused on workplace inspection best practices, you will come to know about:

  • Legislated requirements for JHSC workplace inspections
  • Understanding workplace hazards, including committee functions in making recommendations to reduce risk
  • Information and resources available to committee members to complete successful inspections
  • The importance of talking with workers to gain more information on workplace realities
  • How to make recommendations to the employer to address workplace hazards

This e-course contains a series of interactive exercises to reinforce the content and put it into action.

At the end of the course, you’ll be given the opportunity to develop an action plan for further discussion with your committee. Apply your learnings to identify your JHSC’s strengths as well as opportunities for continuous improvement.
